**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced **Shopify Front End Designer / eCommerce Specialist** to join our team of digital marketing professionals based in Australia.

You will be responsible for creating visually stunning user-friendly designs for Shopify e-commerce websites. You will work closely with clients and project managers to understand their brand identity and requirements, and then translate those into design concepts that enhance the overall shopping experience.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Creating mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to visualise design concepts in Figma
- Collaborating with developers to ensure design concepts are implemented accurately
- Build pages, posts, navigation, collections, cart and checkout using a variety of Shopify themes
- Configure all Shopify eCommerce settings (Shipping, Payments, Notifications, Locations) along with all third-party apps
- Optimising designs for mobile responsiveness and usability
- Ensuring designs adhere to Shopify’s best practices and guidelines
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies
- Providing design support and guidance to clients throughout the development process
- Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback to improve designs.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years relevant industry experience in Shopify website development
- Excellent knowledge of Shopify
- Excellent knowledge of Figma web prototyping tool
- Excellent knowledge of eCommerce configuration and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of User Experience (UX) and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) principles
- Excellent knowledge of speed optimisation platforms, principals and techniques
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and best practices
- Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
