**About the Opportunity | Risk and Assurance Specialist**
Reporting to the Assurance Manager, the Risk and Assurance Specialist will be a vital member of the Enterprise Risk and Assurance consulting team. The position offers a fantastic opportunity to partner with business leaders across the organisation to provide strategic assurance and risk management expertise supporting the business's objectives.

The Risk and Assurance Specialist will advocate for and continuously enhance the enterprise assurance and risk frameworks and influence the business to use them effectively, including policies, standards, and guidelines to meet evolving business needs.

**About You**
- A minimum of five years related risk assurance experience either gained in large professional services or complex commercial business environments
- Experience in a diverse range of strategic, operational and financial risk assurance reviews
- A strategic and pragmatic thinker, restless with the status quo and confident to share ideas in a collaborative work environment
- Tertiary qualification in a related discipline to business audit and risk
- Strong ability to work within a non-hierarchical team, motivated by seeing ideas being put into practice and having an impact, rather than positions of status and spans of control
- A risk background combined with strong analytical and data-reporting skills such as Power BI reporting
- Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset to improve efficiencies across a large complex business
- Superior interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- A passion for assurance and risk and the contribution it can make to driving business outcomes

- Generous remuneration package inclusive of superannuation - $140 000 - $160 000 + up to 15% STI Bonus (commensurate with experience)
