**Requirements**:
We are currently looking for a customer focused Print Production Technician to join our VIC South Team.
The objective of the position is to install, maintain, service and repair Konica Minolta products and services in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This will be a hands-on role, providing technical diagnostic support for our range of production print products.
Seeing that the role will be in the field and on the road extensively, we are looking for a person who can work collaboratively as well as independently within a self-directed work team. Konica Minolta will provide a fully maintained vehicle, required tools and equipment, training and manuals.
The role is a dynamic, high paced and a challenging role where robust customer relationship skills go hand in hand with timely, accurate and thorough diagnostic skills.
Key Requirements
To be qualified for this position, ideally your background and skills will comprise of the following:

- Your strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and a professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers and colleagues, are essential attributes for this role.
- Corrective Servicing: Analysing, diagnosing and rectifying equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Preventative Servicing: Service and maintain installed equipment including scheduled maintenance visits.
- Installation: after training, Field Service Engineers will be involved in the commissioning of equipment installations which are more often than not, very large and heavy.
- The ability to conduct training sessions on the use and basic maintenance of systems if required.
- Ensure that your equipment, uniform, spare parts, phone/laptop and vehicle are always complete, orderly and clean.
- Stay informed and up to date with Konica Minolta’s products and services

**Essential requirements for this role**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role along with strong IT and technical/electromechanical knowledge is favourable, however we are also considering new school/tertiary leavers who are interested in forging a career in the Print Industry and want a long term role within a prestigious company and are prepared to put in the hard work and training, both Instructor Led and online, to achieve these goals.
- Collaborative approach to work and stakeholders both internal and external
- Experience in a technically oriented customer support role in a similar environment is beneficial
- Customer oriented, excellent communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to drive own workload in collaboration with the team to achieve personal and team KPI’s. This is a critical key component of the role and integral to working within a large remote based team.
- Safety: able to demonstrate strong awareness of safety procedures and practices in previous positions, either in paid or voluntary roles.
- We are also looking for people whose past history demonstrates professionalism, the ability to work independently, reliability, and a sense of pride in what they do
- Driver’s License, Working with Children Check as well as a current Police Check.
- Covid Vaccination required to be maintained for this position
- The ability to ready and visualize colour accurately
- The ability to travel interstate for training when required and permitted.
