**About the Role**
**Community Solutions** are proud to deliver Disability Employment Services (DES) and the Workforce Australia (WFA) programs. We are here to create tailored plans unique to each individual, helping them to gain employment skills and work experience with the end goal of assisting them to find meaningful, long-term employment.
As **Performance Coach (Employment Services)**, you will contribute to the success of both programs by collaborating closely with our frontline staff. You will oversee the planning delivery of regional learning and development strategies, coaching activities, advice to build and embed knowledge and capability across our leaders and teams.
**Key duties will include**:
- Identifying training needs and performance gaps across each region based through analysis of RSS, reports and feedback and audits
- Driving learning, operational initiatives and best practice strategies by sourcing, developing and delivering training solutions to address learning needs
- Coaching team leaders and team members with a focus on embedding identified KPI’s and performance measures
- Proactively seeking ways to further enhance our customer experience through promotion of consistent and effective customer service strategies
- Keeping up to date with any industry or department changes and ensuring this knowledge is communicated across the relevant employment teams
- Working with the wider leadership team to identify and deliver positive change and business efficiencies
**What will you bring to the role?**
- Experience and operational working knowledge within Employment Services
- Proven experience in training/coaching leaders and staff via e-learning, workshops, online tutorial sessions, on the job coaching and job-shadowing
- Ability to convey information and ideas consistently through creative channels that will support understanding and retention of information
- Strong, confident communication and people skills and the ability to change your communication style to suit the audience
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to formulate effective strategies
- A solutions-based focus, continuously seeking ways to find further opportunities to add value
- ** Flexibility to travel** up to 2 weeks out of every month initially (Central/Northern QLD sites) in order to support and provide coaching to our frontline teams. Travel will then become less frequent with the option to use Microsoft Teams to connect
**Additional requirements**:
- Right to Work in Australia i.e. Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa with Permanent Work Rights - excludes visas with Temporary Work Rights
- A current **Blue Card** and **NDIS Worker's Screening Check/Yellow Card, **or the willingness to gain these clearances if successful. We will reimburse you the cost of these checks on commencing
- Open** Driver's Licence**:
- Willingness to undertake a** "Fit2Work" Police Check**
