**About the role**

The Coordinator is responsible for providing and overseeing programs for children aged 5 - 12 years in Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.

This role is to work at our Chatswood OSHC. The hours of the Centre will be Monday
- Friday 7am-9am and 2:30pm-6pm. As well as Vacation Care shift of 7.6 hours.

This is a Permanent Full time position, with Administration time provided.

**Duties**
- Being the Nominated Supervisor and leading staff in the provision of a high quality OSHC and Vacation Care service
- Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework;
- Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required;
- Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service, provide guidance, and support to the team on best practice programming;
- Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications or significant experience in working in outside school hours care;
- Skills and experience in team leadership;
- Completion of the "Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk" certificate;
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework as it applies to Outside School Hours Care;
- Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working With Children Check
