**About the opportunity**
The Inventory Controller reports to the Estimating Development Manager and is part of NEX Building Group’s Inventory Control team. Your focus will be to collaborate with key stakeholders to analyse, update and maintain our inventory database. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

- Maintain and update inventory data using Excel and BusinessCraft.
- Collect and analyse pricing information to support cost-saving decisions.
- Provide reports on product availability and inventory status.
- Assist with general admin/data entry and review vendor and supplier invoices.
- Work closely with the procurement team to manage supply contracts.
- Support business goals by delivering accurate information within tight deadlines.

**About you**
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:

- Advanced Excel skills - comfortable with functions such as VLOOKUP
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to details with effective oral and written communication skills
- Goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to liaise across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience within the residential construction industry or Completion of Cert IV in Building is desirable
