**The Opportunity**:
Newcastle Anglican is seeking a Laundry Manager to lead the commercial laundry operation in Boolaroo NSW.
Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager this role ensures that our commercial laundry facility operates at peak efficiency. You will manage a team of laundry employees, oversee equipment maintenance, manage inventory, and ensure that all laundry services are delivered to the highest standards of quality.

**Role & Responsibilities**: Overseeing the day to day operations in all aspects of the provision of the linen services; Manage a team of skilled laundry workers to ensure that all laundry services are delivered on time and to the highest standards of quality; Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize downtime; Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize waste and ensure optimal use of resources; Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that all laundry services meet our clients' expectations; Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings; Maximising output and controlling truck movements and schedules in order to adhere to the delivery times of our clients; Communicating effectively with all staff to ensure teamwork and achievement of role is attained; Ensure all safe work practices and manual handling practices are adhered; Training and supervising the performance of all laundry employees; Scheduling of employees according to business demands.
About you? Previous experience in a commercial laundry at a management or supervisory level; Solid knowledge of all facets of a commercial laundry operation including equipment, processes, and supply chain management; Experience in distribution & logistics; Proven experience in inventory management, quality and infection control procedures.
