We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The position is for Head Chef for cafe offering modern Australian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the relevant cuisines, a creative approach to menu development, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Menu Development:** Create and innovate a seasonal menu that showcases authentic Filipino and modern Australian cuisines.
  • **Kitchen Leadership:** Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, and maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment.
  • **Food Preparation:** Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, consistently meeting our quality and presentation expectations.
  • **Team Management:** Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • **Inventory and Cost Control:** Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
  • **Health and Safety:** Ensure all kitchen activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • **Customer Satisfaction:** Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests, addressing any issues or special requests promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to create and innovate dishes that delight our guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
