**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Underground Mining Manager, the Mining Superintendent will provide high level technical support as well as develop operational readiness plans throughout the various phases of the underground operation.

**About the Role**
- Effective day to day management of production;
- Monitoring actual performance against targets and taking corrective action to maintain targets;
- Supervision of underground staff and contractors;
- Provide input into mine designs and schedules;
- Mining development, production and projects costs controlled in accordance with the budget;
- Actively participate in business improvement plans; and
- Carry out Statutory Mine Manager duties in the absence of Mine Manager.

**About You**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in mining engineering;
- First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate;
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an underground mining operating environment;
- Advanced level user of Deswik, Surpac and MS Office;
- Well developed communication skills, both oral and written; and
- Work both autonomously and within a team environment.
