**Your new role**

As an Export Documentation Officer you will work in the exports team with approximately four colleagues. This job is integral to the companies cashflow therefore it is important that all export documentation is created, processed and dispatched in line with customer requirements and company deadlines.
- Obtain packing details from suppliers when required
- Create forwarding instruction and send to shipping companies
- Applications for RFPs, Health/DAWE Certificates
- Coordinate the shipping and documentation processing activities with customers, shipping lines and supplier
- Freight invoices review and approval
- Data entry to ensure the database is maintained and kept up to date
- Complete export shipping documentation and any other documents as required by customers
- Request Letter of Credit amendment when required
- Timely dispatch of shipping documents and information to customers and to the bank
- Check customers payment received

**What you'll need to succeed**

As an Export Documentation Officer you will have previous ocean exports experience so that you can join this friendly, but hard working team. Your previous exports experience will include:

- Previous experience in export documentation, shipments under Letter of Credit and/or freight forwarding
- Strong customer service skills supported with good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer skills
- An ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- A committed self-motivated team player
- Driver's licence required
