**Your opportunity**:
As our valued Technology Test Manager_,_ you will play a vital role_ o_verseeing the testing and quality assurance functions across the Networks stream of TPG Telecom’s Fibre Network and EGW Sale to Vocus initiative. This critical role ensures that quality standards are upheld across both internal engineering and vendor testing functions, providing independent governance and quality control for project deliverables.

Key accountabilities include establishing effective testing frameworks, leading a high-performing test team, optimizing testing automation, and ensuring adherence to cost-effective practices.
- The Test Director will liaise with Project Managers across Network streams, as well as interfacing to the IT test streams, to coordinate the network test program prior to transition, thereby supporting TPG Telecom’s strategic project objectives.
- This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a transformative test program within TPG Telecom, demanding a proactive, collaborative approach to ensure delivery excellence in a dynamic and challenging environment.

**You'll make impact by**:
Testing Program Management
- Ensure the team meets business objectives and delivery goals with respect to quality assurance and testing.
- Establish and oversee test team financial controls and reporting, ensuring targets align with project objectives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including Program Managers, Project Managers, and domain managers across all Network streams to facilitate comprehensive testing across the initiative.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to anticipate and address quality engineering and testing needs, particularly around performance and automation.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a team of skilled quality assurance and testing professionals who support both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.

Operational Excellence
- Manage testing assets, including resources, tools, processes, and multi-vendor teams (onshore, offshore, direct contractor, and permanent).
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, focusing on automation and efficiency gains.
- Lead the identification and development of automation initiatives, overseeing the preparation of performance and automation business cases.
- Ensure quality assurance practices align with best practices, enabling effective testing strategies, estimates, schedules, plans, and completion reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize tools and processes, driving quality improvements across all testing domains.

Vendor Management
- Oversee governance of vendor performance, establishing and measuring SLAs and KPIs to ensure compliance and quality.
- Foster productive relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment on testing standards and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including service agreements and purchase orders, in vendor collaborations.

Process and KPI Optimization
- Implement standardized operational processes to enable effective test planning, including estimates, strategies, schedules, and completion reports.
- Develop and manage a policy framework for testing quality and release management, aligned with TPG’s operational standards.
- Monitor test function compliance with SLAs and KPIs, reporting on quality and cycle time metrics.
- Drive continuous process improvement by implementing, monitoring, and reporting on quality metrics for testing and test environment management.

Release and Change Management
- Define and manage a Release Management policy and processes that cover all areas within the Network domains.
- Maintain a knowledge base of test cases and automation scripts, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Ensure smooth management of inter-project dependencies, with comprehensive tracking and governance.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality engineering and testing roles within large technology programs.
- Strong familiarity with telecommunications technologies, systems, and te
