We are currently looking for a Reservation Accounts Leader to join our Brisbane team. In this position you will ensure the delivery of quality services to internal and external stakeholders, achieving business/commercial goals. You will develop efficient systems and processes, and ensures appropriate controls are in place to safeguard the accuracy of cash outflow through refunds/credits, ensure the completeness of cash inflow through agency billing, and to minimize revenue leakage where possible.

**_ Key accountabilities include_**
- Provide leadership, mentoring, training and support to the Reservation Accounts Team
- Foster a positive working atmosphere within the Reservation Accounts Team
- Ensure the delivery of key deliverables within required timelines
- Work closely with the Automation COE to implement effective automation of key refund processes in an accurate and controlled manner
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with Finance team members, key front line customers (GCC, GR, Velocity, Vis etc), other internal stakeholders and service providers
- Establish and maintain an understanding of the requirements of internal customers so as to provide support, guidance and advice on Accounts related matters

**_What we're looking for:_**
- At least 2 years experience in leading a medium/large size team in a dynamic environment
- Aviation/ airline experience and knowledge - Exposure to and use of GDS / reservation system
- Experience in training & knowledge transfer of Reservation Accounts systems and processes.
- Experience working in a rapidly changing environment whilst implementing new systems, processes and workflows.
- Experience identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in managing a high transactional processing environment
- Knowledge of the full Reservation Accounts function
- Fares and Ticketing knowledge

**_ About the team: _**

The Revenue Accounting team comprises an onshore and offshore team for the accurate and timely recognition of revenue. The team comprises of a small group of specialists with a detailed knowledge of airline ticketing and accountants, ensuring all revenue is recognised in accordance with accounting standards, revenue leakage is minimised and receipt of cash is timely and complete through the completion of form of payment reconciliations, management of debtor accounts, accurate processing of refunds and audit of travel agent sales. This role is part of the Guest Contact Centre support team.
