- **ICU/CCU,**
**Ward 32. Ward 32 **has 10 Intensive care/HDU and 10 Coronary care beds. Our medical and nursing team are highly trained and provide around the clock specialised care to our patients.
- Our ICU and CCU team liaises with a wide range of specialists and Allied health teams to ensure holistic care for our patients and maintains excellent communication at all times.

- **Patient Care Assistant** you will be a vital member of the multi-disciplinary team and, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and are involved with patient transport, food distribution, ward cleaning and ensuring that all services are provided at a high standard

- This role is on a Permanent Part time basis, 42 hours per fortnight.._
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care,
- Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Client/Patient Services) or similar; or currently studying in a health related field at a tertiary level.
- Demonstrate well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and ability to identify work priorities and plan to meet them.
- Demonstrate effectiveness in working in a team environment.
- Knowledge of principles of manual handling.
- Knowledge of basic cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- An understanding of and commitment to Quality Improvement.
- Awareness of current Occupational Safety & Health and Equal Employment Opportunity Legislation.
