The Manager Health, Safety & Environment is responsible for developing and implementing the HS&E strategy for Network Aviation to ensure legal compliance with all relevant legislation as well as ensuring our strategy achieves set targets and objectives in creating a zero-harm safety culture.

This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and maintaining comprehensive WHS procedures, designing, implementing and delivering safety training and driving initiatives across all business units within Network Aviation.

In addition, this role will see you manage the environmental management plan across all divisions, identifying environment hazards and developing strategies that will reduce these risks.

You’ll have
- Previous proven experience in a similar role- Tertiary qualifications in Aviation Safety, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment or relevant discipline- Significant experience in compiling procedures or reports- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in the interpretation and analysis of data and draw meaningful conclusions- Broad ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to liaise effectively with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders- Safety Investigator qualification- Lead Auditor qualification highly desirable- Demonstrated leadership skills- Extensive knowledge of Audit, investigation, WHS&E and safety assurance- Audit, investigation and safety assurance experience.
