Our client has just started construction on a massive $2b project in the far eastern Pilbara region of WA. This is a brilliant opportunity for you to join the company at the very beginning of the build as they erect a new minesite, processing plant, village/Hub and all associated NPI.

This role is critical to the business. You'll lead a team of superintendents and advisors for the two years of construction while flying a 2:1 roster out of Perth.

your responsibilities will include guiding and mentoring the management team towards achieving legislative compliance, establishing safe working practices across the site, leadership and development of your team, ensuring permits and licenses are identified and obtained and ensuring all statutory requirements are met.

This is a significant role and we're seeking to employ a heavy hitter in this field.

you must have health and safety qualifications and considerable experience in working on a construction site in a mining setting. Previous experience in offering plenty of face time on site, leading negotiations with regulatory authorities and local community stakeholders and a broad base background in all of health, safety and environment will be considered essential.

In addition, you must have emergency services and medical services experience and a strong understanding of WA's health and safety legislation.
