**The Opportunity**

**Albany Creek Retirement Village** is a large retirement living community boasting 11 hectares of gardens & grounds that surrounds 380+ independent villas and apartments. Boasting a restaurant, pool, tennis court, gym and much more - Albany Creek Retirement Village has an opportunity for a **Maintenance Officer** to join our established team. On a daily basis, you'll spend your time outdoors and around the village attending to light repair, maintenance or groundskeeping tasks. You'll connect with residents and work with a great team of staff to ensure our buildings, common areas and units are maintained and presentable.

**This is a full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm**

**You will**
- You will attend to various maintenance requests around the village (basic domestic repair tasks)
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks (e.g pool checks, high-pressure cleaning, smoke alarm checks and bins etc.)
- Liaise with your fellow maintenance team to ensure projects undertaken are completed to a high standard
- Use our system app to log, track and record the progress of jobs completed
- Help out around the village with additional tasks
- Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team
- Please note - this is not a gardening role. We've got that covered

**What you will bring**
- A genuine interest in learning new skills, being outdoors and hands-on who will enjoy chatting with residents
- Skilled or experienced in domestic repair or handyperson tasks (e.g painting) (highly desired)
- Automatic driver's licence (required)
- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
