As a Perth-based Group Maintenance Planner, you will oversee maintenance strategies and planning across mine sites, ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of mining equipment and infrastructure. Your role involves hiring maintenance staff, while also driving process optimisation to streamline maintenance activities and ensure operational efficiency.

What you'll do:

- Develop detailed preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for underground equipment (e.g., drills, loaders (LHDs), trucks, jumbos, and ventilation systems).
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) like Pronto and INX InControl to track tasks and maintenance history.
- Create, assign, and track work orders.
- Prioritize tasks based on equipment criticality, production requirements, and safety concerns.
- Ensure availability of parts, materials, tools, and skilled labour before scheduling jobs.
- Liaise with warehouse/supply chain for procurement and inventory control.
- Work closely with maintenance supervisors, tradespeople, and mining operations staff to align schedules and resolve conflicts.
- Provide technical support and ensure compliance with site and State-specific safety regulations.
- Analyse equipment downtime, failure trends, and maintenance data to improve reliability.
- Implement condition monitoring and proactive strategies to reduce unplanned breakdowns.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with DMIRS guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.

What you'll need:

- Trade qualification (mechanical or electrical) or engineering background.
- Pronto experience (essential).
- Experience with underground mining equipment.
- Strong IT skills for CMMS and scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Safety-first mindset.
- WA-based (essential).
