- Permanent Part-Time Opportunity | 16 hours per week: either 2x 5 hour days + 1x 6 hour day per week or 2x 7.6 hour day and 3 x 5.6 hour day per fortnight.

Your Role:

Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves to keep things running smoothly? As a Maintenance Officer at BaptistCare, you’ll be the go-to person for all things maintenance, ensuring our facilities are top-notch and our clients are happy. Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
- Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
- Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
- Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
- Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.

What We're Looking For:

- Minimum of 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
- Hands-on property maintenance experience.
- Understanding of operational budget processes.
- Experience managing property-related contractors.
- A team player with a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) – desirable.
- Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment.
- A genuine alignment to BaptistCare’s vision, purpose and values.
