**ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE**

Our client is a high-profile health service, providing world-class treatments and procedures. With a reputation spanning over 40 years, our client is listed on the ASX and is a market leader renowned for their quality of service and care. As the business continues to thrive and move into its next evolutionary phase, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team for a 12 Month mat leave contract.

**KEY RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently on a fortnightly basis;
- Collect, calculate and enter data to maintain and update payroll information;
- Compile summaries of earning, taxes, deductions, leave reports as required;
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies and maintain payroll operations;
- Develop ad-hoc reports as requested;
- Liaise with the Financial team and key stakeholders as required.

**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Experience in Australia payroll requirements;
- High attention to detail;
- Knowledge of awards is **ESSENTIAL**:

- **Time and Attendance experience is ESSENTIAL**:

- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and efficiently;
- Ability to problem solve and understand the impacts of decisions within the payroll process;
- Display a continuous improvement mindset and ability to consistently complete set tasks;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
