Service Technician

This role will see you directly supporting and interacting with our customers by performing routine inspections and maintenance work on their Dust/Fume Extraction Systems at their factories. - Site work will be across greater Melbourne, country Victoria and some occasional interstate travel. This role will suit any hard-working, conscientious person with a strong Customer Service focus and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to their work. - Experience in Dust / Fume Extraction or any other branch of the HVAC industry will be highly regarded. DUTIES - Perform basic inspections of dust/fume extractors, filter cleaning systems, fans, and ducting. - Identify and record any issues or potential issues that need to be corrected. - Clean and assess the status of filters, using company-provided cleaning equipment and PPE. - Complete standardized electronic forms on our online Service Management platform, accurately documenting the work performed. - Coordinate and communicate effectively with other teams within the organization. - Occasionally assist with the installation of extraction systems and equipment on-site as needed. - Use work vehicle to travel from Micronair base to site. - Operate power tools safely in compliance with safety guidelines. - Safely operate a scissor lift when necessary. - Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. SKILLS - Having an organised, methodical approach to your work - Demonstrated ability to work independently. - Excellent customer service manner and good communication skills. - Physical fitness to lift equipment and bend frequently. - Responsible, punctual, dependable and able to make good decisions WHAT YOU NEED - Reliable, Responsible and a "Can Do" attitude - Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) - EWP (or willing to obtain) - A Driver's License is required, and a Manual Driver's License is preferred Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 30 per week **Benefits**: - Gym membership Schedule: - Day shift Supplementary Pay: - Bonus - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - KILSYTH, VIC 3137: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Power Tool: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driver Licence (required) - Forklift License (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
