Your new role
Reporting to the Shipyard Integration Manager, the Shipyard Services Lead is responsible for the effective management of a team to ensure production and business needs are met. This includes support and services functions across the shipyard, required to maintain daily operations.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Delivery of shipyard services to ensure all production needs are supported. This will require close liaison with operational areas of the business
- Full compliance with state and federal legislation and regulations including all Safety, Health and Environmental obligations
- Provision and management of tooling, mobile plant fleet and equipment to support operational requirements, including the supply, maintenance and procurement of spares and consumables
- Management and provision of all shipyard services including scaffolding, ship ventilation and lighting and cranes crews across various sites
- Management of the docking team and services for all lines of business demand
- Risk management through the identification, assessment and effective mitigation of services risk to scope, personnel, environment and property

About you

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in engineering, project or production management
- Significant knowledge of shipbuilding/sustainment processes
- Demonstrated management experience in an operational delivery environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience working in facilities or services management

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
