**Your new role**:
Reporting to the Head of Operations - Henderson, the Shipyard Integration Manager is responsible for the effective leadership and management of an integrated function across BAE Systems and WA Government Common User Facilities. This includes: infrastructure, services, projects and safety activities, to ensure production and business needs are met.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Defining and managing the strategic-level workforce capability plan for whole-of-site, being both current and future demand profile, across all Lines of Business
- Monitoring all elements of the production facility system, to ensure the facility has the required installed capacity to meet Lines of Business demand profile
- Accountable for estimating responses to any inbound tender requests
- Ensuring all activities are prioritised and deconflicted across the facility. This includes specific focus on safety principles, Lines of Business needs, and site strategic capability development
- Accountable for provision of high risk safety support across all Lines of Business, Material Control (MatCon) on Defence assets, plus management of the Emergency Controls Organisation (ECO)
- Ensure all infrastructure and site services needs are supported and managed
About you
**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:
- Tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in engineering, project or production management
- Significant knowledge of shipbuilding/sustainment processes and associated shipyard integration activities
- Demonstrated management experience in an operational delivery environment
- Proven ability to balance conflicting priorities and manage complex and multiple projects across a range of production environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
