We currently have an opportunity to join our facilities team as a Maintenance Officer. This role supports the Maintenance Lead in maintaining the School’s facilities and grounds.

**Position Overview**:
As the Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for following both routine and non-routine maintenance schedules and assisting with inspections and preventative maintenance. You will also oversee water quality management at the Aquatic Centre, monitor the School’s water systems, and ensure adherence to safety standards. In addition, the role includes maintaining the cleanliness of the School, managing the upkeep of outdoor furniture, and addressing urgent maintenance requests.

**Selection Criteria**:
You will be able to demonstrate your ability and commitment to:

- **Qualifications and Certifications**: Demonstrate possession of a current driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Pool Plant Operator’s certificate and Construction White Card.
- **Experience in Maintenance and Water Systems**: Outline your knowledge or experience with swimming pool operations, water treatment, and general maintenance, including the ability to maintain and monitor water quality and chemical levels in compliance with health and safety standards.
- **Procurement and Stock Control Expertise**: Provide examples of your proficiency with procurement processes, including ordering, stock control, and safe storage practices in line with relevant health, safety, and environmental policies.
- **Technical and Administrative Capabilities**: Highlight your experience in managing maintenance records, adhering to maintenance schedules, and using a computer-aided maintenance management system (CMMS), while maintaining compliance with asset management policies.
- **Personal Attributes and Physical Fitness**: Demonstrate your ability to work independently and within a team, showing initiative, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and physical fitness to meet the demands of a hands-on, physically active role.
