About the role

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment and other industrial machinery as trained and as required. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, it is the responsibility of the Maintenance Officer to ensure that all plant and machinery is operating to manufacturing specifications and is in sound working order.

Duties include but not limited to

• Maintain and repair plant and processing equipment
• Breakdown Maintenance
• Detect problems by performing basic diagnostic testing on equipment
• Test malfunctioning machinery and plant to determine whether major repairs are needed and make recommendations as necessary
• Manage and adhere to the programmed maintenance schedule
• Record all maintenance activities
• Ability to work extended hours through seasonal periods
• Be constantly considering WHS measures and reporting any hazards

Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience

• Previous maintenance experience
• Good communication skills
• Experience diagnosing faults and resolving/recommending solutions

What You Should Know About Our Operations

Our business is widespread, growing walnuts, almonds and bees in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland.

Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
