**Who should apply?**
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- Are a native Japanese speaker and proficient in business-level written and verbal communication both in Japanese and English
- Have prior experience in financial services, currency exchange or banking
- Are able to develop strong relationships with clients and internally
- Are able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Are flexible, and desire to learn new tasks
- Can demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines
- Have the capacity to show initiative and solve customer problems
- Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
- Have strong computer skills and are proficient with Excel/Google Spreadsheet and Word/Google Docs
- Are familiar with CRM systems and practices
- Are accurate in data entry
**What will your day-to-day look like?**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work shifts that include evenings and weekend work (within a 40 hour working week)
- Work from Melbourne or remotely, from anywhere in Australia
- Open new client accounts in compliance with organisational requirements
- Onboard Clients effectively, ensuring that they are able to commence transacting as soon as possible
- Deal with and resolve customer queries or problems within the required timeframes and to the client’s satisfaction
- Monitor team related communication channels and providing solutions when supervisor is not available
- Ensure the customer database is up to date and accurate
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities.
**Requirements**:
In order to be successful, you must:
- Hold unlimited working rights in Australia and be an Australian Resident for tax purposes.
- Satisfy background and reference checking requirements including police check, credit
default and bankruptcy
- Satisfy Japanese language testing requirements
