
Medical Receptionist

You will be required to help with the day-to-day operations of the practice and at the same time ensure that patients are always your number one priority.
Office hours are 8:00am - 5pm, however hours may vary on some consulting days.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Booking appointments and surgical procedures
- Preparing reception and specialists’ rooms for consultation day
- Co-ordinating operating theatre lists
- Invoicing and receipting of consultations and procedures
- Managing quotations and debt recovery
- Processing Medicare and Eclipse accounts
- Liaising with Health Funds and Work Cover insurers
To be successful for this position you will have the following skills/attributes:
- Previous experience working in a specialist medical practice
- Able to work autonomously
- Experience using Genie
This is a unique job which will bring new challenges and opportunities. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Commencement date asap.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-36 per week
**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
