**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the **Head of People and Culture**, you will lead our People strategy and oversee the full employee lifecycle. Your role will be pivotal in building a high-performing, values-driven culture where people can thrive. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll ensure that Nutrition Warehouse remains a great place to work by driving employee engagement, enhancing capability, and supporting the company's growth strategy.

You’ll oversee a talented team of five including Learning and Capability, Recruitment and Business Partnering.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and deliver a **P&C strategy**that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
- Work closely with the Recruitment Lead to deliver the **recruitment strategy**to ensure we attract and hire values-aligned people with the right skillset.
- Administer **annual performance cycle**that drives consistent performance and supports team development.
- Partner with Learning and Capability Lead to deliver the **learning strategy**that supports the growth and development of our people.
- Deliver effective **workforce planning**and **succession planning**to ensure the business has the right talent in the right roles at the right time.
- Oversee and manage employee **performance, disciplinary, and grievance processes**to achieve fair, best-for-business outcomes.
- Ensure all processes, policies, and procedures comply with **employment law and industry best practices**.
- Deliver a **competitive remuneration and benefits strategy**through benchmarking and industry best practices, while managing employment costs.
- Monitor and evaluate employee **engagement, retention, and key metrics**, and develop solutions that maintain a positive and engaged workforce.
- Act as a **driver for change**, ensuring effective change management and communication strategies are in place to support seamless business transitions.
- **Lead, coach, and develop the P&C team**and act as an escalation point for complex people matters.Build strong, trust-based relationships with business leaders and provide expert guidance on people-related matters.

With strong leadership skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to balance commercial needs with empathy, you’ll be a key force in driving the next stage of Nutrition Warehouse’s growth.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Minimum 5+ years of HR generalist experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience working in a multi-site, fast-paced environment (retail or similar is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Australian and NZ employment law and ER/IR compliance.
- Ability to build strong relationships with leaders at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and influence leadership teams.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work with high levels of discretion and confidentiality.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred but not essential).
