DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Business Controlling Specialist in Kemps Creek, Sydney.
This role is responsible to set and maintain standards for invoicing, cost control, reporting and continuous improvement of all back-office functions.
**Your typical day at DSV**:
- Propose and implement improvements to optimize performance, streamline processes, and ensure a more reliable and precise workflow
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and provide results back to management
- Develop and implement risk assessment strategies to identify and mitigate potential business risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement streamlined processes that enhance operational & financial effectiveness
- Evaluate existing tools to identify opportunities for enhancement, aiming to minimize human error, elevate accuracy, and improve overall efficiency
- Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, controls, and key business activities
- Prepare and present detailed reports to internal stakeholders as needed
**About You**:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, process control management, or similar.
- Experience in similar role and in-depth knowledge of relevant industry processes
- Ability to identify cost-saving measures and improvement strategies.
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting Profit and Loss statements to assess financial performance
- Knowledge of CargoWise One and SAP S/4 HANA is advantageous
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to coordinate projects and lead multiple teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Report and procedure writing skills
- Available to work after hours and weekends when required
