Exciting opportunity to support the Werribee Mercy Hospital expansion by designing and developing Models of Care in collaboration with the wider healthcare team. Contribute to strategic health service planning by undertaking data analysis and literature reviews to guide the ongoing care of our growing community.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Reporting to the Director of Business Improvement, this position provides the valuable opportunity to redesign clinical Models of Care to guide Werribee Mercy Hospital through its expansion and into the future. Working closely with the executive team and clinical leaders this position is key in facilitating innovative and sustainable changes across the oragnisation.
- Permanent full time position, 1.0 FTE
- Based primarily at Werribee Mercy Hospital
- Review, update and design Models of Care that meet the changing needs of the organisation and our growing community
- Contribute to future planning, redesign and service changes by undertaking data analysis and literature reviews
- Guide decision making through the utilisation of data and evidence throughout reports and presentations
- Form key working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. health professional discipline, health information, project management or related discipline), and/or equivalent industry experience in a health service environment
- Prior experience in a healthcare, policy or related setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and support change through innovative solutions

Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening or our new intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and the opening of two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.
