
Technician (Fire Equipment)

Due to continuous and steady growth, we are on the lookout for a new Full-Time Technician to join our team.
*Please note: experience is not required.
Day to day duties will include servicing, maintenance and repairs of (where confident to do so):
- Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose Reels & Fire Blankets.
- Fire Indicator Panels, Detection and Emergency Warning Systems.
- Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants & Boosters.
- Fire Pumps and Fire Water Tanks.
- Exit & Emergency Lighting.
- Fire Doors, Paths of Egress & Compartmentation.
- Marking up of Evacuation Diagrams & Fire Block Plans.
Some of these above items may require a qualification, which we will look to provide an opportunity to the successful appliant to complete after a short period of time.

Minimum (Essential) Requirements:
- Great attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Excellent Communication Skills both written & verbally.
- Ability to adapt changes in work tempo and responsibilities.
- Availability from Monday to Friday during normal working hours (7:30am-4:00PM).
- Hold a current South Australian Drivers Licence and have the ability to drive a manual vehicle (or willingness to learn).
- Be reliable, punctual, well presented, have a good work ethic and great customer service skills.
- Have the ability to work alone unsupervised and in a team.
- Hold a current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or have the ability to obtain these on commencement).
Desirable Skills / Attributes:
- Previous Experience in a similar role (not essential).
- Experience using power / hand tools, such as a drill.
- Experience in Fire, emergency services, WHS, or other similar activity.
This role may also require some occasional away work / travel. This can be discussed and be flexible amongst the team.
