As part of our companies continued growth and focus on delivering quality service to our customers, we have a full-time vacancy for a qualified mechanic within our team to start as soon as possible.
Reporting directly to Service Manager, your mandate is clear, efficiently, and accurately service and maintain diesel engines (Fire Pumpsets), essential service systems and equipment ensuring 'uncompromising personal service' is held to the highest standard.
You will be provided in-house training to be able to also inspect and test the fire protection equipment. This is your chance to contribute to the bigger picture while uncovering your full potential.
The right candidate will possess the following;
- Permanent or Full Australian Work Rights Status
- Excellent knowledge of Diesel Motors
- Good knowledge of engine electrical systems is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong technology and computer skills
- Displays pride in delivering quality of work
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Solid organisational and time management skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Desire to continually improve and learn
- Willing to travel (state-wide on occasion)
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Current Police Check
- Current Working With Childrens Check
