Grid Connection Manager

Requisition ID: 10346- Location: Southbank, VIC, AU, 3006**The Opportunity**: Excellent new opportunity for an experienced Grid Connection Manager to join our Asset Development & Delivery team to manage the connection of asset development projects into the grid. The role will be accountable to the Engineering Manager and the role can be worked flexibly between home and our new Southbank office - hybrid model. Travel to project sites will be required. Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered. **Responsibilities**: - Manage grid connection processes for projects including our Generator Performance Standard (GPS) studies consultants, contractors, Network Service Providers (NSP), AEMO from early-stage connection concepts through to R2 completion - Develop and refine and review electrical balance of plant concept designs for projects including managing consultants - Lead the electrical and grid connection inputs into tender specifications for projects - Lead electrical and grid connection inputs into technical due diligence processes for acquisition projects - Conduct risk reviews of development projects from a technical perspective. - Provide expertise during construction including the commissioning grid connection and R1 processes as required including undertaking site inspections. **About you**: To be successful in this role, you will have solid grid connection experience on renewable energy projects and excellent project management skills. You will have knowledge and understanding of due diligence / risk assessment-based decision making and can hold self and others accountable, including external partners and contractors.
