Let's lead the way, do what's right and make real progressAbout the RoleAs the Manager, Lines Distribution, you will lead a team of dedicated asset management experts, driving innovative strategies to optimise cost, risk, and performance across the entire asset lifecycle. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping the future of our distribution network, ensuring it is not only reliable and efficient but also ready for the challenges of tomorrow. You'll have the opportunity to influence key decisions that enhance network performance, resilience, and sustainability, all while driving operational excellence. This is more than just a leadership position – it's your chance to make a lasting impact on the energy landscape, helping to create a smarter, more sustainable electricity distribution network that serves our communities for years to come.This role will report to the Senior Manager, Asset Management (Distribution) and is located at Southbank, Victoria.What you will deliverDevelop and maintain asset management strategies, plans and condition assessments across distribution asset classesMonitor asset risk profiles and develop mitigation plans for distribution assets (poles and lines assets)Meet network compliance and regulatory obligations, including public lighting, ESV, ESC obligations etc.Develop and maintain technical standards and specificationsDevelop maintenance policies and programs, including implementing predictive maintenance and enhanced data driven analytics initiativesInfluence asset management and planning processes including analysis of equipment faults, risk modelling, weather impact on reliability, reliability focussed asset replacement /maintenance strategiesEnsure all asset management practices and engineering solutions adhere to established technical standards and industry best practicesProvide strategic leadership and oversee the management, development and auditing of the Bushfire mitigation plan, Environmental and other safety obligations, providing strategic advice, guidance and contingency planningFoster a culture of trust, innovation and continuous improvement. Lead and coach a high performing team.
