**Your Impact**:
Reporting into the General Manager of Disruptive Businesses and sitting in the ‘Group Digital and Disruption’ team, as the Venture Lead for Club Connect (a B2B platform designed for sporting clubs) you will play a key role in enabling the Asahi Beverages strategy, maximizing near-term business value through driving performance and scaling of ‘Club Connect’ and positioning for longer term growth through future capability and delivery of commercial objectives.

Your new role is responsible for the overall performance and growth of Asahi’s “Club Connect” business, seeking to unlock exponential growth of the venture (with full end to end commercial, financial and operational accountability).

Please note this is a 12-month contract.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Periodicalassessment of business strategy, considering whether the business remains aligned to the Asahi Beverages strategy, consistent with the mandate of the Disruption Function and that the customer value proposition still holds
- Accountable for the full Integrated Business Planning cycle for the performance of Club Connect and accountable for setting and delivering the scale metrics agreed by the Ventures Board
- Creating Go to Market and Scaling strategies for Club Connect to unlock exponential growth
- Define and deliver on going KPIs and Metrics including 3-5 year MTP budget forecasts and profitability modelling including P&L ownership of the venture
- Use insights to understand the target market, aid decision making and to develop a proposition to the target customer groups to acquire customers and drive sales
- Build effective long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers & requirements
- Responsible for the maintenance of the ecommerce platforms and the infrastructure that supports them through direct report Digital Operations Specialist
- Responsible for UI and UX of the platform
- Monitor and evaluate execution metrics and performance to identify gaps, obstacles and opportunities to drive growth
- Delivery of the mid-term plan, annual budget and rolling forecasts for Club Connect, leading the delivery of in-depth, insightful performance narratives

**About you**:

- Someone who has a clear passion for community sports, you are always the person willing to volunteer and support your local club
- An e-commerce expert, who is passionate and driven by the idea of growth, setting and achieving stretch targets and being able to grow and scale a business (5+ years of commercial e-commerce experience is highly desired)
- You have strong communication, negotiation, influencing and execution skills, ability to sell a sales value proposition as well as products and brands.
- You are customer & consumer obsessed with previous sales and marketing experience, and have your finger on the pulse with emerging e-commerce trends
- You understand the levers of a P&L, know how to maximise growth in a P&L and have a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets
- You get energy from rolling your sleeves up and getting things done
- Project management, budget ownership, business reporting and analysis acumen
- Proven sales record,
- Strong initiative to identify new opportunities for the customer and team
