A day in the life: *
Using advanced analytics and machine learning, PEXA Insights is developing a next generation valuation platform that will help shape decisions impacting people, property and place. We are building a team to commercialise this solution which we expect to positively impact financial institutions, property developers, valuers, local, state and federal government.
This 2 year contract is an opportunity to lead a start-up, where an IP rich solution has been developed and validated with customers. We are looking for a leader with a strong track record in scaling start-ups, proven ability to drive customer centric product development, customer acquisition, established strong strategic partnerships, the ability to inspire the team, and the drive to great a truly global business.
As the Head of [New Venture*] you will be responsible for taking this developed IP from prototype to commercialisation. You will work to build momentum with the market, and early customers as you refine the product to market. You'll be defining the go-to-market strategy and ensuring a strong product market fit. This is a unique opportunity to be a creator, builder, and innovator to build a world-class product alongside some of the biggest companies in the sector.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a leader to shape corporate strategy and company vision while building conviction in the market
- Drive growth, profitability and company value while implementing scalable and efficient strategies to ensure consistent results and exponential growth
- Assist in defining, evaluating and evolving the product roadmap by identifying new opportunities and gaps through a data driven approach.
- Create a rigorous framework for channel experimentation ideation, budgeting, testing, tracking and reporting best practices
- Own the operational budget and managing burn rate and runway
- Report updates to the Board of Directors of “New Venture” and GM PXI Solutions and supported by a Steering Committee
- Create and sustain a great company culture with articulated values that provides inspired leadership and enables a great working relationship to the team across all levels.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Founder experience is preferred or experience working in an early-stage venture backed company in a key leadership role
- Experience developing and executing growth strategies including multi-channel go-to-market initiatives.
- Strong track record of tackling difficult challenges, a strong work ethic and desire to build a high growth company
- A true leader that knows how to motivate the organisation to deliver this exciting opportunity
- An entrepreneurial mindset along with the grit and determination to scale a company from scratch.
- Ability to operate and thrive with ambiguity
- Ability to straddle the nimble ‘start-up’ world against the backdrop of a corporate
