MinRes has come a long way - but we’re really just getting started. **About the role** Rehabilitation Execution Supervisor primary responsibility is to manage the safe execution of our MinRes Rehabilitation earthworks actives and ensure timely delivery of closure and rehabilitation obligations are met within project deliveries. You will be a key leader managing both external and internal parties to achieve the company's closure and rehabilitation commitments whilst coordinating all rehabilitation earthworks in line with MinRes procedures and processes. This will be a hands-on position reporting directly to the Superintendent. You will be predominantly based out on our mine sites on a 8/6 roster, and occasionally there will be requirements to have oversee on our projects at our HQ Office located in Osborne Park. **In this position you will**: - Champion a positive culture by leading with example, empower and support your team to continue to grow and develop - Build a strong and positive relationship with your back to back - Have a thorough understanding and support of MinRes’ Environmental and Safety policies, plans, procedures and cardinal rules - Lead QA/QC process of rehabilitation earthworks execution - Work with site teams and contract supervisors to plan and implement earthworks projects - Passionately believe in and share MinRes’ commitment to zero harm, whilst promoting sustainable, environmental and community practices - Section 44 accountability for the earthworks and closure study activities - Statutory reporting for all safety compliance - Overseeing the creation of daily activity reports for the site - Oversee contract management of earthworks package - Running and facilitation of daily pre-shift meetings, handovers, permits and weekly safety toolbox meetings on site - Managing and coordinating the supervision of the development of new and existing projects - Supervision of consultants and earthworks contractors, including task inspection and signoff - Adhere to MinRes Closure team project management systems and processes - Thoroughly investigate and report all incidents according to the MinRes Process - Manage and coordinate the smooth setup, running and demobilisation of earthworks programs - Oversee and help to run group risk assessments, site specific inductions, prestart and return to work meetings - Participating in risk analysis meetings such as HAZIDs - Project planning and support including development of operational execution, safety and emergency response plans - Ensure safety initiatives such as hazard reports, field interactions and workplace inspections are being conducted as per the rehabilitation execution plan and are of a high quality - Manage onsite vehicles and equipment to ensure the safe execution of rehabilitation activities - Ensure Health and fitness for work initiatives including BAC Testing, COVID management, Mental health and fatigue are implemented and understood **Necessary skills and qualifications**: - Minimum of 5 years' experience in the mining and civils industry - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask independently - Excellent time management and work planning skills - Fully experienced in the use of the Microsoft suite and INX - Strong project management and scheduling skills - Excellent leadership skills - Provide First Aid - Manual drivers licence or higher - **Desirable**: - Certificate in project management - Cert 4 in Health and safety - Understanding of mine rehabilitation - Understanding of earth works practices as they relate to mine rehabilitation - Authorised Assessor - High Risk Work licenses - ICAM incident investigation - NRT tickets for telehandlers, skid steers, loaders and dozers - 4WD course certificate **Flexibility and job security** MinRes employee’s value job security.
