Disability Support Worker/ Mentor

Adventure Team is seeking new disability support worker/mentor to join our growing team in Brisbane. We are advertising for a support role to start within 7 days.

Since forming in 2019, we’ve grown from a team of 2 on the Gold Coast in Queensland to many, and we are in the process of expanding our services in Melbourne and Greater Area. We are a disability support company, helping people living with disabilities through providing mentoring, group and respite services. As a team we are strongly driven to help others and offer personalised services centred around pushing boundaries, building hobbies and routine, and encouraging adventure.

**About the Opportunity**

Positions are casual roles offering a competitive starting weekday rate of $40.43 p/h (+ super).

We provide a fun and flexible environment. Adventure is at the heart of who we are and we love to operate outdoors and encourage our clients to discover their own passions and interests.

As a mentor, you will be supporting our clients with daily living and community access. We provide support in a variety of settings covering a broad range of needs and we work to ensure we match you, your interests, availability and skillset to the right person.

**Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain before commencing work
- Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current, non-restricted open drivers licence or non-restricted provisional licence
- Roadworthy, registered and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
- Strong verbal communication skills

Pay: From $40.43 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
