Reporting to the Senior Manager, Credit Risk Review this opportunity will see you responsible for providing assurance to the Bank on the commercial lending portfolios across BOQ Group. This includes syndicated lending, commercial lending, property development and investment lending, small and medium Enterprise (SME) lending, equipment finance, floorplan lending, structured finance and novated leasing. This includes the loan origination, credit decisions, loan documentation and settlement, account management and risk grading.

This role will assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of current credit risk controls to manage these portfolios, along with:

- Conduct portfolio and file reviews and identify key risks
- Produce accurate concise risk-based reports
- Review and recommend amendments to Credit Policy
- Engage with key stakeholders during all phases of the review
- Manage and prioritise workflows autonomously
- Identify all material issues during reviews
- Provide on-the-job training as required

You will be involved with identifying key issues and themes, interpreting policy and articulating the findings in a constructive manner. This also includes a requirement to understand the implications of the issue identified and the impact for the Bank, key stakeholders, and the customer.

**About you**
With experience in a relationship management, credit assessment, or a credit risk review role at a financial institution, you will bring sound knowledge of credit policy, regulatory codes, and relevant legislative requirement, along with credit processes including scoring and other automated lending support programs.
