**About the Role**
The Credit Risk Policy Manager is responsible for the setting and maintenance of Level 2 and 3 commercial credit policies across BOQ Group that balance risk and commercial considerations to enable BOQ to meet all legislative, regulatory and industry code requirements in line with BOQ's business strategy and risk appetite.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

- Develop new policies in line with approved strategies or business requirements.
- Timely completion of policy reviews to ensure these remain current in relation to BOQ's strategy, associated industry changes and current regulatory requirements.
- Action ad-hoc policy changes or enhancements in terms of business requirements.
- Co-ordination of approved policy changes with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of processes, procedures, and training.
- Prepare new/replacement Delegated Approval Authorities (DAAs) as required from time to time.
- Support the maintenance/administration of all DAA records. Action termination of DAAs as required from time to time.

**About you**
We are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Policy expert or a banker with broad commercial exposure, with ideally 3-5 years in a policy, lending or credit role. You will have a strong understanding of various risks including policy and industry risk, with a comprehension of legislation and interpretation of legal advice or guidance.

You will also understand the importance of setting and maintaining level 2 and level 3 commercial credit policies to balance risk and commercial considerations. The role requires you to assist in the development of new policies, as well as the review of existing policies that form part of BOQ's strategy.
