Principal Air Quality Consultant

RWDI is seeking an experienced individual to join our Industry business sector as a Principal Air Quality Consultant. Individual must be a seller
- doer consultant. RWDI are excited to grow our current air quality team. We are hoping to fill this position in our Sydney Australia office, however for the right individual, we are open to open to working out alternative locations in Australia.

The role will include (but is not limited to):

- Expand our air quality services in the Australia, with a focus in the industrial sector (mining, renewable energy, power and other sectors).
- Provide sales support for marketing initiatives of air quality services in Australia/New Zealand.
- Provide technical leadership and expert knowledge in regulatory requirements, air quality issues, and climate change, including oversight of complex modelling and environmental assessment projects.
- Assist to grow air quality skillset in Australia and be an active leader for the Air Quality Team from a technical and business development perspective.
- Positively promote the company in all dealings with clients and staff

Job Requirements
- A degree in engineering or science
- 5-10 years of experience with consulting in the environmental industry with an established client base (industry and regulatory contacts)
- Certified Air Quality Professional would be an asset.
- Proven consultation track record with governmental agencies.
- Must have extensive knowledge of industry required environmental services (i.e., air quality modelling, permitting, source testing, etc.)
- Market awareness with business development experience
- Ability to communicate complex environmental issues to a wide range of audience understanding
- Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and co-workers
- Leadership and Organizational Development
- Legislative / Regulatory Compliance
- Expert testimony
