**Your new role - Operations Supervisor**
- Assist and guide in the resolution of operational matters/problems experienced by Operations staff.
- Liaise with other Operations Supervisors when confronted with issues.
- Manage team workload and work allocation including cover when staff are on leave.
- Training of staff in all operations matters, including external accreditations required.
- Ensuring all invoicing is kept up to date, and manage local and overseas invoicing and profit and loss
- Plan and implement import/export activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of company and its agents and clients.
- On behalf of agents and clients, manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and /or out of the country in accordance with company policy and procedures and to comply with relevant country of destination laws and international law.
- Communicate with export and import and related authorities, also with customers and suppliers in all relevant countries and territories, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive, and lawful relations, support, and activities.
- Liaise, advise, and direct external companies and contractors on the movement of goods.
- Manage the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient and cost-effective execution of import/export activities.

- Operations Supervisor experience
- The ability to bounce back from difficult situations and maintain a positive attitude and performance.
- Can make moderate decisions. Considers available information, potential consequences, and organizational goals when making decisions
- Can lead or manage a team or task. Supports and encourages team members effectively
- Can communicate with impact. Adapts communication style to better understand and respond to others
- Can be counted on to meet commitments consistently and maintains a high level of visibility with stakeholders.
- Can produce meaningful results and advocates for the company's goals and objectives.
- The ability to identify and analyse problems, generate, and evaluate potential solutions, and implement effective solutions.

- Continuously learns and develops professional knowledge, applies learning to enhance capabilities in own role. Seeks out and recommends new ideas and resources.
