**Your New Role**
- Liaising with customers and overseas offices to coordinate import inquiries and shipments
- Registering import shipment and coordinating import clearance formalities with our in-house Customs Brokers
- Coordinating AQIS inspections and formalities
- Monitoring progress of customs and quarantine clearance via ICS and communicating the outcomes to our clients.
- Coordinating deliveries of customs released freight to destination and de-hire containers to empty container depots
- Completing billing process; timely and accurately coding of supplier’s invoices and preparing files for handover to PFS Accounts as per contracted agreements
- Assisting with tenders and competitive RFQs
- Delivering a high level of customer service
- Participating in general office and warehouse tasks as required
- Minimum 2 - 3 year’s experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Confident in conflict resolution
- Advanced negotiation and relationship skills
- High-level customer service skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- High attention to detail and strong planning and organization skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy work environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent working knowledge of Customs ICS and Cyberfreight computer systems
- Current unrestricted drivers’ license
