We currently have a great opportunity for an Information Protection Services Lead. Reporting to the Head of Business Solutions Security, the key focus of this role will be to lead the operations and management of a number of information protection systems / services. You will also execute and continually improve information protection processes, as well as undertake onboarding of new information protection capabilities delivered by BAU and project initiatives to uplift Origin’s information security posture.

You will also be responsible for:

- Establishing an **operating model** of Origin’s information protection services
- Working closely with **business areas in Origin that are responsible for sensitive information** to uplift the adoption of information protection controls / services across applicable processes
- Working with the **Security Engineering team to continuously streamline and automate information protection control management processes**:

- Providing **thought and technical leadership** / guidance to relevant business or technology areas on **how** existing or emerging information / data protection **controls** can deliver added security value to Origin’s processes
- Adoption and promotion **of any and all applicable Security Mission and Principles** as part of day-to-day service operations

This role requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage key stakeholders, build relationships and work with a diverse set of business and technology people across Origin and third-party vendors. A high level of resilience and ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time is essential.

**IS THIS YOU?**

You’ll need to be an experienced cyber security professional with a proven track record and have excellent stakeholder management skills. You will hold qualifications in technology management, security or similar or relevant certifications such as Microsoft Information Protection Administrator, MS Security Administrator, CISA, CISSP, or CISM. You are passionate and interested in information / cyber security in the energy industry and have a good understanding of global standards and best practice.

You can demonstrate the following:

- At least 5 years of IT / Information / Cyber Security working experience.
- Design / implementation / operation of information classification, labelling, and/or protection systems (e.g. DLP systems)
- At least 3 years working in a technology operations and service delivery environment
- Ability to document information protection requirements, design and solution considerations / recommendations in a manner that is actionable, concise and in plain English.
- Analytical skills with an ability to translate data into valuable information for management.
- Working knowledge of large corporate environments, systems, regulations and culture.
- Experience in modern ways of working, such as experience in Agile delivery.
- Practical experience in working with frameworks such as AESCSF, NIST CSF, ASD Top 37, or similar.
