Workfast is looking for an experienced **Defects Close out Handyman **to assist our student accomodation client based in **Mascot** NSW.

Our client provides accommodation to students and the premises is supported by a bubbly, upbeat team who regularly engage with the students to fix issues in their rooms.

If you have great customer service skills, know your way around tools and have experience solving small handyman jobs, please read further below.

**The Job**:

- Temp - Perm opportunity
- Use tools like Aconex to take photos of defects and delegate to contractors to close them out
- Be automonous and take responsibility of delivering building finishes completion
- $36 hr + Overtime + Super
- Be offered a permanent role after 3-6 months, progress into facility management
- Mon to Fri (Sat as required) 8am start
- Tools Provided
- Scheduling times to fix the issues with customers (students using client's accomodation)
- Patching holes
- Fixing Doors
- General Repairs

**About you**

You must hold a police check with no disclosable outcomes or be willing to obtain one.

**What you need**
- Experience in Construction
- Hand Power tool experience
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Willing to work hard and have a 'can do' attitude
- Complete an online OH&S Induction

**You will need to undergo a police check and potentially a working with children's check in the future for this role due to its industry requirements.**
