We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our fantastic team as full-time Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role will be tasked to:

- Work cohesively with the maintenance, housekeeping and front office departments to ensure all maintenance/painting staff meets service standards, and follow procedures of all areas of hotel operations including hotel suites, public areas and back of house.
- Perform daily maintenance work along with the maintenance team and supervise daily workload of the maintenance staff.
- Implement and perform preventative maintenance for Front of House, Guest Rooms & Public Areas of the hotel as per the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Supervise Preventative Maintenance Program and contractors as directed.
- Provide advice to the managers to operate the hotel building automation system (when required) to adjust HVAC and other system parameters consistent with high operating efficiency and reduced energy costs.
- Identify defects and repair all guest room facilities e.g. air conditioning and ventilation, minor maintenance to plumbing and building works.
- Ensure monthly workplace inspection is conducted in maintenance department
- Ensure all chemicals are stored and used safely and up to date Safety Data Sheets are accessible to colleagues
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with contractors and suppliers, who will furnish reliable 24-hour emergency service as necessary

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Handyman/Supervisor, being solid across all technical areas, preferably within a small to medium hotel that delivers five-star quality.
- Relevant qualifications in the field of Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services.
- Ability to visualise the organisation as a whole.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with other tradespersons, colleagues, and guests in respectful and friendly manner.
- Understanding and ability to implement workplace practices particularly Work, Health and Safety.
- The availability to work on rotating roster, weekends and public holiday if operations required.
- The capability to handle emergency maintenance situations.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
