Your new company

Operating out of more than 80 countries, this blue-chip freight forwarder specialise in providing a wide range of solutions for their wide customer base. This business is now looking for an experienced, customer-focused Import Officer to join their team in West Melbourne

Your new role

Your day-to-day responsibilities for this role are:

- Working with the invoicing team, raising invoices, focusing on both costs and revenue
- Working with customers and the wider team to resolve AR and AP queries
- Planning and prioritising shipments and deliveries with a focus on achieving deadlines and KPIs
- Solving a range of transport issues as they arise, such as weights, documents, and measurements in line with load size, and available space

What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven freight forwarding experience
- Experience using the Cargowise platform
- Knowledge of handling FCL and LCL airfreight cartage
- Strong customer service experience in the logistics space
- The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders both internal and external
- Strong financial acumen
