Work locally in your own community in the Alpine Shire with paid travel time and km's
- $28.94 - $32.20 per hour
- 2 x Permanent Part Time Hours - 16 hours per week

Due to high demand, we are seeking an enthusiastic community-focused person who want to make a difference by connecting and supporting older people within the Alpine Shire towns of Bright, Myrtleford and Mount Beauty.

**About this Role**
- You will provide compassionate home-based care by building trust and taking the lead to support individuals to live as independently as possible at home and stay connected to their community.
- Individual care that is tailored to suit the personal needs of our individual clients.

**Duties**
- Provide personal care to our clients including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
- Provide general home support and light housekeeping duties, assistance with meal preparations, and companionship.
- Provide incidental transport to appointments, shopping and social outings.

**Skills & Experience**
- Possess exceptional communication skills, can-do attitude, empathy for and an understanding of the needs of the elderly.
- Have patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
- Be personable, compassionate, approachable and able to build relationships with each of your clients.
- Be reliable, responsive, efficient, confident and proactive.
- Value and enjoy the company of older people.

**Preferred Requirements**
- Have access to a reliable car, and comprehensive car insurance.
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or have a Right to Work in Australia.
