About the Role
As the Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Head of Products to deliver market competitive products to our Membership base whilst driving results to achieve organisation Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and strategic goals. The development of core products across key distribution segments, competitor analysis, evaluation, monitoring and redesigning existing products; and introducing new products to meet industry and Member demand will be key to achieve results.
This is a full-time position based on a 38-hour work week, with the successful applicant willing to work outside normal business hours to accommodate the needs of the department. The position can be based in our Townsville Head Office, Brisbane Admin Office or Cairns Admin Office.

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related field (desired)
- Experience in product management, market research or a related field
- Financial Services experience (desired)
- Experience of delivering on key projects and initiatives that have demonstrated successful results
- Demonstrated ability in concept/product creation and execution that deliver financial and non-financial results
- Demonstrated experience working with Third Party Distribution or Business Banking (desired)
- Highly developed and effective oral and written communicator, including listening and negotiation skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to self-manage and work as part of a wider team across several different work disciplines
- An effective change agent and strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
