Assistant Duty Manager

Catalina Club is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated **Assistant Duty Manager**to join our leadership team to manage our busy Club. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership potential who is passionate about creating memorable experiences and providing exceptional service.

As Assistant Duty Manager, you will confidently step into this leadership role, supporting and encouraging our customer service team with the delivery of high-quality service throughout all areas of our club.

With exceptional service skills, proactive attitude, and natural ability to communicate effectively, you will create a fresh, positive work environment, leading service flow and performance standards. The Assistant Duty Manager will have strong alignment with our values and will report to the Assistant General Manager.

**This role will involve the following duties, but is not limited to**:

- Warmly welcome and engage with patrons throughout their experience
- Facilitating high quality standards of service, tending to patrons and exceeding expectations
- Support daily bar/café/gaming operations
- Oversee the operation of the Club to ensure smooth service and excellent guest experience.
- Maintain excellent service standards during shift, by leading with a hands-on approach
- Supervise team members, encourage growth, teamwork, and service excellence
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional service throughout the Club
- Encouraging and supporting growth and excellence within our team
- Coordinating and supporting entertainment activities to engage members and guests.
- Actively promote and build customer service standards to align with Catalina Club’s vision of being a leading, enjoyable, quality, and inclusive destination
- Diligently ensure compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act and WHS responsibilities
- Responsibility for locking and securing the Club premises, responding to customer complaints, and maintaining venue compliance requirements.
- Uphold and promote Catalina Club’s values and commitment to being a Leading, enjoyable, quality and inclusive golfing and hospitality destination.
- At least a diploma in hospitality management or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year as a manager in a club environment with bistro & bar experience.
- Strong leadership potential and a desire to grow within a supportive team environment
- A friendly, approachable personality and a genuine passion for hospitality
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to upskilling and mentoring others
- Alignment with our values of GRITT: Growth, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Trust
- Current NSW RSA & RCG certifications (Advanced RCG & First Aid will be highly regarded)
- Availability to work across a flexible roster, including nights and weekends

**Previous Supervisory and Hospitality experience**will be viewed favourably.

Annual Salary: $73,150 AUD, plus superannuation
