About the Role
- Work in Children's and Neonatal Services, including the Inpatient Unit, Special Care Nursery, Maternity Inpatient Unit and Outpatients.
- Assist with the management of patients admitted to the Children's and Neonatal Service, under the supervision and guidance of the Paediatric Consultants. Arrange necessary investigations, consultation, and discharge under the supervision of consultants. All assessments, investigations/results and management plans will be clearly documented.
- Re-assess the condition of assigned complex care patients with appropriate regularity depending on their clinical condition. Inpatients must be reviewed once daily as a minimum.
- Perform initial assessments on patients referred for consultation by other specialties, e.g., General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Mental Health and Emergency Department.
